| Described stylistically as Frank Zappa-meets-Metallica while trapped inside Pee Wee's Playhouse, the award-winning band Dead Serios first launched from Florida’s Space Coast in 1985. And after 30 years, the group continues to delight fans with its unique brand of irreverent, high-energy rock and roll. Dead Serios has released numerous recordings on various independent labels and has appeared on several movie soundtracks. The band’s signature 1989 hit “Butterbean Queen” provided the road map that many acts would follow to platinum-selling success during the late 1990s and early 2000s. Possessing an impeccable reputation as an outrageous “must-see” live act, Dead Serios has performed from coast-to-coast over the years with such iconic chartbusters as Marilyn Manson, Hootie and the Blowfish, Cinderella, Faith No More and KISS’ Ace Frehley. The band also has been featured in such national and international magazines as Billboard, Metal Hammer and Thrasher.
